UK-Bound Student Detained at Hyderabad Airport for Submitting Fake Degrees

Hyderabad: In a recent incident at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, a student attempting to fly to London was apprehended by immigration authorities after they discovered that his educational certificates were forged.

The individual, identified as Mohammad Shahabazuddin from Andhra Pradesh, had secured a UK student visa by submitting counterfeit academic documents.

During standard immigration procedures, officials became suspicious of the student’s credentials. Upon verification, they found that his B.Tech degree from JNTU Hyderabad was fake. Further investigation revealed that he had also submitted a forged Intermediate marks memo and a fake B.Com degree from Nagarjuna University.

All of these fraudulent documents were reportedly used to support his visa application for studying in the United Kingdom.
