Thefts made up approximately three-quarters of reported property crimes, and saw no significant increase or decrease in 2012. Property valued at more than $141 million was lost due to burglary, theft, and motor vehicle theft. Property valued at more than $7 million was lost due to arson.

Wisconsin is a U.S. state located in the north-central United States, in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions. It is bordered by Minnesota to the west, Iowa to the southwest, Illinois to the south, Lake Michigan to the east, Michigan to the northeast, and Lake Superior to the north.
